By: Lorin http://saturna.thinkhead.com/you-would-think/#comment-4850 Lorin Sat, 13 Jan 2007 02:47:43 +0000 http://saturna.thinkhead.com/you-would-think/#comment-4850 well, i was woken up again at 3am, up for the rest of the day pretty much, if you don't count the pseudo-sleep i had from 5:15-5:45 when i had to hear my alarm clock. so i was faced with the question of "do i take my child to the doctor?" this meant losing a full day of work and also paying the clinic out of pocket. i took him anyway. got there at 7:30, waited until 8:30, when i finally got in touch with melanie. she advised not bothering, with his symptoms being only a fever, and the fact that he was running around like a totally healthy child by the time we got to the waiting room, and had no fever, despite a 101 before we left the house. i opted out. took him back home and did a half day. he seems to be doing much better, with a little wavering back into feverland. i, on the other hand, am now thoroughly exhausted even with a two hour nap this afternoon. so it is rest up this weekend, work on my vision board - a collection of images and phrases i am taping onto the wall just above my computer - things i want to happen in my life. really fun to do. well, i was woken up again at 3am, up for the rest of the day pretty much, if you don't count the pseudo-sleep i had from 5:15-5:45 when i had to hear my alarm clock.
