worla hurt
i do not usually get political here, but maybe i should.
first i say, please do not forget to vote tomorrow in memphis. you might want to look at the sample ballot to prepare. i hear that even with having done that it takes a while. you can find that at www.shelbyvote.com. if you need some guidance on liberal candidates, feel free to email me at saturna (at) thinkhead (dot) com. otherwise i will keep my opinions to the voting booth for now.
and what i am really here to write about is a song which epitomizes how my heart hurts for this world right now. i simply do not understand how anyone, from any viewpoint, feels it is ok to hurt and kill people, to cause or react with such harm and destruction. i am not sure of the solution, but i do know that bombing and anger and fear are surely not.
with that said, listen to the vocals, and even more clearly, the strings, and you will see what i mean. and take heart, whatever the struggle, big or small. my heart sends love.
