venturing
today i woke and drove to Nashville for an interview. i was unsure if i should go because it was snowy. i checked TDOT and then set off. by the time i got halfway to the suburbs, the snow was coming down pretty hard. not big flakes, but tons of medium ones.
the snow did not stick since it has not gotten above freezing here for days, but the visibility was terrible for over half of my trip up. pretty nerve-wracking, to where i did not even comprehend any of the music i had on the whole way up.
i arrived safely a few minutes early, perused a couple of shops which had lovely things far beyond my means, including a pair of shoes i salivated over for a few moments before forcing myself out of the place. i got to the coffee shop where we were to meet about thirty minutes early, and so did the people i was to meet. so that worked out well. we ordered what turned out to be a wonderful meal and talked for about an hour. it was enjoyable and inspiring for me. i can rock this job, i feel it. just a few logistics to iron out and some finalization if all parties agree.
i stopped by the School for Audio Engineering, for business and personal reasons. wow, that is a neat place. i got the tour and talked to someone for a bit, then headed right home, to beat traffic. i ended up on the phone for nearly the whole way home, between calls from mom and dad and discussions of the logistics of today and possible future travels. i think maybe thirty minutes of that i actually got some much-needed quiet and calm.
...at 80mph, that is. so i guess that could be called hyper-vigilant quiet and calm. but i love driving on the interstate, always have. i think on one trip to Miami for work one year with a fellow trainer i ended up driving for eight hours straight, no bathroom breaks. i was obviously not drinking enough water, hah!
back home now, where it is 22 degrees. i am so happy about that. it means that parasitic bug larva are dying! awesome.

We definitely want the parasites to DIE. If we are to finally have a winter, then that is the reason.
My fingers are still numb, and I can hardly type. burrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today we got snow flurries, clouds, sun, snow flurries, clouds, sun and cold, cold, cold,
I'm glad your venture was good, and got at least a minute of solace.

the secret to happiness is to send out the positive things you want. that positive energy responds and returns to you. looks like that is happening for you and i am SO happy. see what you want and you will be there. minus as many parasites as possible!..xoxo mom
