...but i am going to buy us a new television. i never noticed how crappy ours was until i watched The Incredibles on my brother's TV and realized that we are missing half of the movie here at home because our set is so dark, no matter what i adjust. plus the color is tinged red. aggravating, even if you only watch a little TV. on top of that, our old hand-me-down 19 inch is hard to hear and not stereo.

i have never bought a new TV, is this some kind of terrible bridge to cross in my life? oh well, if it is, its too late. i have one picked out and will be able to get it sunday, i think. nothing too fancy. 27 inch flat tube with stereo sound and get this: a function that monitors the sound so that commercials don't scream at you. how wonderful. back inputs for the dvd so that jah isaac won't try to pull them out, and picture nice enough that i might want to finally make good use of my netflix membership.
