old friends
last night i met with some old friends from junior high and high school. these are the girls i grew up with, at least a couple of them. apparently there was a falling out with the other two. (after hearing what happened, i am not surprised in the least, but will leave that out of cyberspace.)
it was good to see them. we are all mothers now and not a whole lot different than we ever were.
seeing them made me happy about my path, glad to have done and to be still doing music and the other creative things i love. i always felt like i just abandoned them as friends, but we just had different paths, and we all have grown and prospered.
i have lots more to write about, but need to spread it out in different posts. been reading lots of good books and listening to a lot of good music, all of which i will be reviewing here once i get through the mad rush of a last minute gig playing music i dont normally play. more to come...
