officially not….
...going to be Ellen DeGeneres' new deejay.
a client told me she needed one so i sent off a dvd presentation and a cd with a short mix and some random other tracks i "might would play on the show."
i did not really figure that i would be picked, mainly because the music i play is not the most accessible to a commercial audience, so this is not a surprise. i got an unsigned letter in the mail, which ended by telling me to "keep in touch!" i just wonder.... keep in touch with whom? the non-signing, form letter writer? hrmmmm.
it did serve a great purpose in getting me motivated, completing a project, giving me momentum for other projects. one of the other ones i have finished, still waiting on the results, the other i am still working on - will post more when i know more.
