well the job interview went really well on my end. i think they would hire me. but i will not be taking the job. they would be paying "significantly less" than the average pay for that job in this area (per the US Labor Board statistics that i researched) and the offer no health care benefits!

that really blew my mind. you would think that if an employer did not provide health coverage access because of a cost prohibitive reason, then they would pay you more so that you could afford private health care. it is a small company, so i can understand that it would be expensive, but i might as well keep working the job i work and take on more hours - i would make more money that way.

still looking, making contacts with people who might know of jobs that i would actually enjoy (not secretarial work) and still in high gear on music, mixes, and arranging time in the studio. hopefully one project i have been working on will be finished today and into the mail, then onto the next one.
