let me preface this by saying that i love my iPod.

let me then say that i am ready to throw it across the room. i bought it in october of 2004. it died last august, and they replaced it. now it will not keep a charge.

i have followed the 5 Rs recommended by the apple support website. after a restore, which completely wipes it clean of all of my music. then i charged it fully. then i tried to load the 17 gigs of music back onto it. it died about a thousand tracks to the end of the 1900, thus nullifying all the work it had been doing and not completing the update.

i cannot get the (*%)@($*%) thing to stay charged long enough to even load it. and it is not even a year old. i guess i have to go to the apple store, which is a bit of a pain what with a crazy three year old running around, and the fact that i have a PC and they will want to test it with that, meaning i have to bring my laptop, etc, etc, etc.

and it is 108 heat index. so aggravating. nearly everything is aggravating in this heat, but particularly the idea that i may have to go through cleaning other peoples' houses with no music in my ears until this issue is resolved.

grrrrr.
