my car is pissed.
it apparently read my entry from this morning and decided to pre-empt my five day iPod drive.
it died on my way home from work. no warning, no sputter, just stopped. would not crank, no nothing.
i walked the 2 miles home, which in itself was not a bad thing. just a little freezing, but the sun was out so i was able to rescue a positive thought about how nice it is to walk.
as far as the car, i have a sick feeling it is the transmission, which means i probably need a new car. the bluebook on this one is not high enough to warrant replacing the transmission.
if that is the case, i am without much hope. no downpayment, no trade-in, poor credit score, and no help on a cosign from anyone who has decent credit.
anyone got some good car mojo they want to send this way?

that sucks.
i have no car mojo, i'd only make your situation worse.
i never changed the oil in my last car and it siezed up.
i didn;t think that could actually happen!
duh. it can.
hope it's nothing too serious.
do you have a good mechanic?
