Saturna

well, after a couple of weeks of back and forth and serious restraint on my part as far as my expectations, it looks like we are going to nashville tomorrow for the day.

the ride situation worked out completely last minute by jason's mother offering her car, after three other rides looked like they might work, but did not at the last minute. i had fully resigned myself to being in memphis and making the best of it, and then voila! so nice when that happens.

going to be playing at this:

it is really laid back, no set, just a few folks dropping two records a piece on rotation. so i will not really get to show off my stuff, but it will be nice to not be in memphis, and be around some househeads - something we seem short on these days. lunch with my brother and his wife, if i can get them on the phone, or just drop by their house or something.

regardless, a whole sixteen hours with jah isaac safely in the care of loved ones, and a breather from memphis.
