intermission
i am on my third post about denver but i am not finished with it. it is a lot more entailed because i actually remembered to pull out my camera that day.
in the meantime, my mechanic has a 1982 Volvo 240 Series wagon for sale. low original mileage and he could do any work on it i would ever need. he says it is very reliable, and all research backs that up. it is still the boxy style which i have always preferred.
he will sell it to me for $1000 because it needs a paint job... the hood and the left front panel are replaced and different in color to the rest of the body. but that is $200 bucks, easy. the interior is tan leather that shows its 25 years, but for some reason i already love this car. nothing like a reliable older car. it would mainly be driven around midtown anyway. lots of room for all the various activities i get up to like personal assistant hauling or gear hauling or yard sale shopping.
so i am visualizing having this before the end of the week. put a good stereo in it and i would be happy driving my own little car.
