Saturna

i am a huge LOST fan. i never saw the show until last summer, when a friend let us borrow the first season, which was watched in four days. then the second season over the next couple of weeks. then a rewatch of the whole first two seasons to time exactly to end the night before this last season premiere occurred.

it is rare and wonderful, excellent television. tonight's season finale did not fail to deliver, though i know there are people out there screaming "they jumped the shark!" they did not. i also do not think everything is so neatly tied into a pattern of unalterable fate. i am stoked to see what they do in the next 48 episodes, and i am glad they are spreading them out over three seasons. that gives them time to really sock it to us, and good!

so, i have a lot to think about for the eight month break, which i am welcoming. it is the only show i keep up with no matter what, and i dislike feeling like a slave to my tv.
