ice, ice, baby!
yesterday we were all in the car, driving to target for various sundries. usually this ends up being a big contest for jah isaac, who will interrupt us anytime we try to talk to each other. "mom! mom! MOM!" - ad nauseum. we are working on this interruption thing, how to do it politely, but it all goes out the window in some moments.
after a while he calmed down and then all the sudden jason started laughing and said, "do you hear what he is singing back there?" i had not, but i started paying attention. and sure enough, jah isaac was back there, in beat with the house music on the radio, singing, "Ice, Ice, Baby! Ice, Ice, Baby!"
i have not laughed so hard in a long time. he got this from a commercial for the new Santa Clause 3 movie coming out. i understood that because i have seen it with him in the room - jason was baffled until i told him the source.
as terrible as that song is, we may have to get it for him just for kicks. this boy is quite the singer and i want to encourage it, of course. he also has wicked aim with any sort of ball, which i will also encourage, should he want to play some kind of sport.
update:
just as i pressed the "publish button," jah isaac came in here with this guitar to sing me a set. he did the Sandy song where she wants to go back to Texas, and the Rockstar song, and then the cutest - the "song about no song," which is his wording for "intsrumental." too cute.
