antonello from fashionfm wrote me and asked me for a mix for his italian radio station. i feel honored because he has folks like larry heard play on there all the time. i also still owe lars a mix for deeper shades of house on XM radio.

i freak out when i press record. i become this OCD bundle of nerves and start over and over. i really, really need to learn how to let go, in this is, and in many areas of life.

there is a bright side to this. i have been torn as to what sort of mix to do for lars' show because he also has broken beat stuff. i love house. i love broken beat. they are very hard to mix together, unless i have about three hours to freely go here and there. this way i can do a deep house one for fashionfm and then let myself be more open with the deeper shades of house one.

also another gig thursday night at the gibson lounge, latin theme this time. a little nervous about that but i think i can pull it off. then if that goes well, it will be reggae next week, which i will really enjoy.

on a funny note, amber has asked if i want to play the Navy Ball in october. not confirmed yet, but wont that be a hoot!
