i had a dream this morning that i was looking for jobs and found some hotel job to try. it was advertised at 53.5 hours per week minimum, with pay of $67-89K. in my dream, i actually was trying to get the job, but my shirt would not stay tucked in and i kept getting lost trying to find the interview in this big hotel.

whew! i am glad that was not real. to make that kind of money would be awesome, but i would never see my son at all, which is simply not acceptable, not to mention never having time for music.

speaking of, i wish there was a way to record my sets hifi at the same time i am broadcasting. as it stands, to broadcast you have to jack up the output to get a good signal, which makes it clip if you are trying to record. i wonder if it is possible to put a split on the booth out, and if so, if i would be able to set it to a level at which i could both hear to mix and also record without clipping. hrmmm.
