next Sunday in Nashville is an afternoon outdoor party called Tea Dance. i have been invited to play if i am in town. it is the last in a series of summer parties, and apparently the best house music event that Nashville does.

for some reason, it is really hard to break into Nashville as a deejay. they probably think that about Memphis, too. it is most likely that most of the promoters who have good taste are broke, and in both cities.

so i can play, if i can get there. anybody want to go? by that, i mean drive and let me pay for your gas, and food. because my car will explode somewhere around Jackson, staging a huge protest that i would have the audacity to ask more if it than driving to cordova, about which she already complains, poor thing.

this will be next Sunday, the 3rd, and will be drive there, eat, explore a little, play, then head back so we can get the little one from his gramma.

come on! it will be an adventure!
