dang!
i dropped my iPod into the toilet at Otherlands today. it plopped out of my back pocket. i picked it up very quickly, but it did start acting funny.... the harddrive making some noises like it was yelling, "what have you done to me, woman?!?!?"
i have put it away for a week or so hoping that it will fully dry out and be functional. i hope so because i have more important things to purchase.
this will serve to have me singing to myself, which is what i need to be doing anyway.... so thanks, universe... i will make the best of it.

yeah i am determined not to let anything get me down. i even, in the past two days, have learned information that is shattering. a friend died. and my suspicions were just confirmed regarding some familial crap that is just heartbreaking. but you know, life is still good, even better, with that knowledge. better knowing that i had the blessing of knowing a loving person, better knowing that my life has value far beyond what a dollar can prove. thank maude, for all the money in the world means nothing without love.

That is so true about love. I am sorry about your friend, it's sad to loose someone you love, no matter what the circumstances.

Lorin, i know your heart is breaking for a couple reasons. 1-you know life is all about living and dying. that is why you make everyday count, and be sure those you love know it. 2-brush off any info given you, knowing you can look yourself in the mirror. most people never change, and knowing this, realize their opinions are biased. Stand up and STAY STRONG, girl baby of mine....weezer

PS..i have lost 2 phones to the never ending toilet bowl!!!!mom
