colds and costumes
its getting colder here, and jah isaac and i have colds. mine is pretty minor - his is fairly full-on, having trouble nursing and such. i love wearing layers and drinking hot tea and the way cigarettes taste when the air is crisp, so i am good despite a mild headache and a little stuffiness.
jah isaac got his halloween costume (thanks weezer!) and he is very excited to be Dash, from The Incredibles. now i am realizing that he thinks (quite understandably) that he is supposed to run really fast in this costume. why the heck i did not think of the ramifications of that while trick or treating, i do not know. guess i had better wear some comfy sneakers that night.
i have no idea what, if anything, i will be wearing as a costume. i sure was not about to pay the money for the Mrs. Incredible one, and ideas to make one did not come to fruition. (man i wish i had listened to mom when i was eight and she wanted to teach me how to sew!) maybe i will just wear my record bag and some shades and be a rockstar deejay. (i am totally kidding.)
