clear vision
so here i am in my new specs.
i feel about a foot shorter than normal when i walk, and when i drive the car feels like i dropped the (non-existent) hydraulics. in a few days i am sure i will be used to them, and will know for sure over the next few weeks if my headaches have been vision-related, or if i need to start cleaning my massage therapist's house for trade on some hours.
i actually wouldn't complain a bit if the headaches went away, and i started going for his 2.5 hour sessions over other week. he rocks - his name is Terry Ellis if you need the kinks out.
i didnt intend on getting new frames, but these jumped off the shelf into my hand, the adjuster guy didnt have to do a thing for them, said they fit perfect. they are really comfortable, and also have the nice effect of not making me feel like i have some weird contraption coming off my face.
much to do, as its off to chicago in the morning to hear DSS, my first trip in two years, first trip without the baby. i feel so blessed to be able to go, and so grateful to everyone who is making it possible! i will miss my little wonder, but i will come back to him a better mother after a night of dancing and uplift.
