CARma

i am positively sure now that in a prior life i had fancy cars, lots of them, or i was carried around by servants, never having to worry with my transportation. we have so much car trouble it is ridiculous. finally got my car back, and it is running well. but after spending $200 on jason's car to get a new muffler system, i took it back through inspection this morning, and it failed. there i was, thinking how lucky i was that i only had to wait in line for thirty minutes and finally be done until next year, and the thing failed way worse and on more things than before we paid for this work that we felt had done this amazing job on the car.

the work is good, it just obviously wasn't the only problem. the muffler guy suggests a tuneup, which we were about to get anyway, and the nice mechanic guy down the street said he would see if he could fix the settings without us having to spend any money. whoever heard of that? i guess i had better take him up on it before he wakes up and realizes how un-mechanic-like he is acting, heh.
