bringing out the big ones

yesterday, after i got to work, i realized that some lovely person had stolen my little sony headphones out of my cleaning supplies in my stairwell. i should not have left them in there, because i have had things stolen out of there before - namely, strollers and who knows what else.

i tell you, it is highly disappointing to load one's iPod, get ready to clean some stuff, and find you have no way to listen. thankfully, i have remembered this today and will be using my big sonys and just hoping they do not fall off my head into my client's toilets - they are too big, even on the smallest setting. it is worth the risk, and one of the only reasons i enjoy my job - music, lovely music. i hope whoever took my headphones gets a bit of peace from using them.

It seems like you have a peaceful attitude about your headphones. That is just not nice!!!!!!!!!!
What a bummer, but I'm glad you had a backup, and that it wasn't your I-pod.

I need some new ones, one of my earbuds doesn't work. I have these headphones that i got on the plane, and they are giant. (though comfortable)

Maybe Santa will bring you some shiny new headphones :)

well in the moment i found out that they were gone, i was not peaceful.... but at this point i have better things to spend my energy on than anger at a thief.

now, if it had been my iPod, we would still not be done hearing about it. i am petrified it is going to go belly up soon - it is getting old and crickety.

My ipod freezes at will, and it isn't that old. I just "updated" it, so we'll see.

Isn't it funny how these electronic things things just show up in our lives, and once they do, they hook us in, and well, we cant imagine life without them. Even though life was fine before hand.

Though, music is essential, no matter where the listening source comes from. So I hope your ipod continues to live so you can enjoy the music while you work, or play.
