been LOST
aside from all the regular crazy stuff i have going on, i have been LOST for the past five days - watching the first season of LOST on dvd, that is. i am sure the whole element of watching the shows at my determination and without commercials helps, but wow is that a great show. i would have never thought tv could get that deep at points - the whole in depth look at character development on each character, and how they have to step beyond themselves to survive on this island, is really beyond what one usually sees on television.
but, i read deep into everything, so don't mind me.
other than that, saturday jah isaac and i went to the little water park where he played, and as i was making my way home at about 1:45, i get a call from morgan saying, "hey, where are you???"
apparently, i had the day of the movie shoot incorrect. i had everything set up for sunday, but it was saturday. thankfully, the universe provided by sending Chellie (the girl who played my babysitter in the last scene we shot, and who happens to live about five houses down from me) to walk her dog in front of my house just as i pulled up, frantically calling around for childcare. she hung with jah isaac while i went and shot the couple of scenes, which involved riding a bus a couple of times. it was fun. hot, but fun.
so now i am done with my part in that project, which is good, because i start intensive meisner class next monday night. that should be really awesome. everyone in the class has already taken the first class, so we can skip right to the work, and the whole goal is to go in with a list of things we want to accomplish within our own creative world. i have been feeling the effects of the first class reverberating through my life, and am stoked to see what i can put into this one, and how it will break things open for me and those involved.
off to the pool, with jah isaac and mom and stasa, who is leaving the country for good, booooo.
